Massage seats

One passenger likes cooler air, another warmer – multi-zone climate control allows both. In the summer heat, on a long stretch of motorway, or on a late-evening journey home in winter, it is one of the most valuable comfort features.

What does “zero local emissions” mean?
A fully electric vehicle has no exhaust, so it emits no exhaust fumes wherever it drives or waits. The overall environmental footprint of an electric car also depends on the source of the electricity used to charge it – which is why it matters to us that our base has been expanded with a solar park and several electric-vehicle chargers. Budapest and the airport
Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport is about 16–20 km from the city centre. In city traffic, on journeys with frequent stops and waiting, the advantages of electric drive are most obvious: no idling, no exhaust fumes – the chauffeur waits for the guest in the same silence in which they travel.
City-centre programmes: short hops, plenty of waiting
A business day in Budapest typically consists of short legs: a hotel on the Danube, a meeting in Lipótváros, lunch in the Castle, the theatre or a concert in the evening. The car then spends more time waiting than driving – and this is exactly where an electric sedan gives its best. Within Budapest, you can book it as a City transfer between one or more venues at any time of day; with several items on the agenda, an hourly booking is more flexible.
Eger and Szeged: under two hours
Eger (about 129 km) is reached via the M3 motorway: its castle, baroque town centre, the Lyceum and the wine cellars of the Valley of the Beautiful Women make it a popular destination for corporate outings and wine dinners. Szeged (about 171 km) awaits on the banks of the Tisza, via the M5 – a university city, congress venue and, in summer, home of the Szeged Open-Air Festival. Over distances like these, the smooth, quiet progress of the EQS is felt most of all.
Debrecen: the centre of eastern Hungary
Debrecen (about 229 km) is Hungary’s second most populous city, a university and economic centre with its own international airport. Bratislava, Vienna, Košice: the region’s capitals and major cities
Bratislava is about 200 km, Vienna about 245 km and Košice about 260 km from Budapest. Towards Austria, the route crosses the border at Hegyeshalom on the M1 motorway; towards Bratislava, at Rajka on the M15, which branches off the M1; the M3 and M30 lead towards Košice. Planning
A longer journey by electric sedan – how best to plan it
A longer electric journey can be planned like any other trip – the only difference is that it helps to see the whole schedule at once. So when you book, we suggest giving us not only the pick-up and destination addresses but also any stops along the way, the planned length of each engagement and the expected time of the return journey.
In general, the real-world range of an electric car is affected by the outside temperature, the speed and the use of heating or air conditioning: energy consumption is higher in cold weather and at sustained motorway speeds. As a passenger, you need not do anything about this – preparing the vehicle is our job. For a long international journey with a tight schedule, we will recommend a vehicle once we know the route.

Seasons
An electric sedan in winter and summer
Many people ask whether an electric luxury sedan is as comfortable in January as in June. From the passenger’s point of view, the answer is a clear yes – and in certain situations electric drive is even more of an advantage.
Winter months: a warm cabin without a cold engine
On a cold morning, the cabin of a conventional car only really warms up once the engine has reached operating temperature. An electric vehicle’s heating does not depend on this, so the cabin reaches the desired temperature quickly and evenly. On a winter airport arrival or the journey home after a December company dinner, multi-zone climate control lets each passenger adjust the air to their own comfort. When planning, it is worth knowing that every electric vehicle uses more energy in the cold – we take this into account, so you need not do anything about it.
Summer heat: cool air, quiet waiting
In summer, waiting is the most delicate moment: a conventional car cools its cabin while idling, with noise and exhaust fumes. An electric sedan does so silently, with no local emissions, so it disturbs no one outside a hotel entrance or in the courtyard of an event venue. On the day of a conference at Lake Balaton or a summer wedding, the cool, quiet cabin is a welcome retreat between engagements.

With an hourly, as-directed booking, the fare depends on the number of hours booked. The examples below are based on the EQS hourly rate of €125 (including tax) and are for guidance only – our team will send the final price in the quote.

Electric or conventional luxury?
What separates the EQS and the S-Class is not standing but character. If silence, the massage function and travel with zero local emissions are your priorities, choose the EQS; if the look of the classic protocol car and heated seats matter, the S-Class is the better choice. Model history
The EQS – Mercedes-Benz’s first electric luxury sedan
The EQS name carries two meanings: “EQ” denotes the Mercedes-Benz family of electric models, while the “S” indicates that the model was conceived with the standing of the S-Class. The concept car was unveiled as the Vision EQS at the 2019 Frankfurt International Motor Show (IAA), and the production version made its debut on 15 April 2021.
The EQS is not a converted petrol sedan: it is built on the manufacturer’s platform developed specifically for electric models. The battery sits beneath the floor, which results in a flat floor and a spacious cabin.
Aerodynamics and silence
When it was launched, its drag coefficient of 0.20 made it the most aerodynamic production car in the world. For the passenger, this above all means silence: the carefully considered shape dampens wind noise even at motorway speeds. The manufacturer began building the sedan in Sindelfingen, at the plant known as Factory 56, and has since updated the model on several occasions – in 2024 and again in spring 2026.
