When should you choose another car?
For a protocol occasion, receiving a guest of honour or a gala evening, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class or the electric Mercedes-Benz EQS is the more fitting choice. For more than three passengers or pieces of luggage, the V-Class or the Peugeot e-Traveller is the right car. In every other business situation, the E-Class is our best-value premium sedan.

Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport lies about 16–20 km from the city centre and takes 25–60 minutes to reach, depending on traffic. For most business travellers, the airport run is their first and last experience of Budapest – with our Meet & Greet service, that experience is discreet, efficient and safe.
In District XIII, Váci út runs from Lehel tér to Árpád Bridge and on towards Újpest, forming the capital’s largest continuous office district. Where large factories once stood, regional headquarters of international companies now line the street. If you have meetings in several offices here on the same day, an hourly booking offers the greatest flexibility.
In District XI, on the bank of the Danube, Infopark is Hungary’s first innovation and technology park, next door to the Budapest University of Technology and Economics and the Lágymányos campus of ELTE. Győr – on the M1 motorway corridor
Győr (about 124 km) is one of the most important centres of Hungary’s automotive industry: it is home to Audi Hungaria, founded in 1993. Thanks to the supplier network that has grown up around the plant, auditors, engineers and negotiating partners travel here regularly. Kecskemét – an hour away on the M5
Kecskemét is roughly an hour away on the M5 motorway. It is home to the Mercedes-Benz Kecskemét plant, where series production began in March 2012. Arriving at a supplier meeting in a Mercedes-Benz E-Class sends a message all of its own.
Debrecen – the centre of eastern Hungary
Debrecen (about 229 km) is Hungary’s second most populous city, a university and business centre with its own international airport. The BMW Group’s Debrecen plant began series production of the BMW iX3 at the end of October 2025, making the city an important destination for business travel today. Vienna – diplomacy and congresses
Vienna (about 245 km) is one of the region’s leading centres for diplomacy and congresses: it is home to the United Nations Office at the Vienna International Centre and to the headquarters of OPEC. The route follows the M1 motorway, crosses the border at Hegyeshalom and continues on the Austrian A4. With a chauffeur-driven E-Class, you need not worry about parking or local traffic in Vienna. Bratislava – there and back in a day
The Slovak capital (about 200 km) lies on the Danube, close to Vienna, so Budapest, Bratislava and Vienna can even be stops on a single business tour. Anyone with Hungarian–Slovak business ties often travels here for the day: leaving in the morning, meeting at midday and home by the evening.
Prague and Košice – longer journeys for small parties
Prague (about 525 km) is a full day’s journey, while Košice (about 260 km) is the economic centre of eastern Slovakia. For a single journey from one point to another, the transfer fare – €119, including tax and parking – is the simpler option. But if you need to reach several locations during the day and want the chauffeur on hand between meetings, an hourly booking is more flexible.
The hourly cost can be estimated with simple multiplication. The examples below use the E-Class hourly rate of €70 (including tax) and are for guidance only – the final price will be set out in your quote.

Compared with the luxury class
The same four hours in an S-Class or EQS – at their hourly rate of €125 – would cost considerably more. Model history
The E-Class – decades of the Mercedes-Benz business sedan
Few models are as closely tied to the business world as the Mercedes-Benz E-Class. One of the direct ancestors of the model family was the 180 (W120), nicknamed the “Ponton”, unveiled in 1953. The model received the E-Class name in August 1993, when the W124 series was facelifted; the “E” originally stood for fuel injection (Einspritzung).
The E-Class is Mercedes-Benz’s best-selling model family: by 2023, more than 16 million had found owners. The latest, sixth generation was unveiled on 25 April 2023, as a saloon and an estate.
Why does this matter to a business traveller?
Because the E-Class strikes a balance between refinement and good sense. Over seven decades the model family has become the benchmark for the dependable business sedan: generations of executives, diplomats and entrepreneurs have travelled in it, and in many countries it is still what people think of as a “proper business car”.
